I have been an Amazon shopper for decades, but this is the first time I'm writing a review on a product because I had completely enjoyed this pair of earbuds (notice the past tense) so much that I am compelled to write a review. Bass is very deep for on-ear earbuds, volume is loud, tweeter is clear without any shrills, and mid range warm-toned. I fell in love with this pair of earbuds, especially because I hate the over-the-head bulk of a typical headset and the vacuum suction of the in-ear earbuds. Also, because this pair of earbuds rests just outside of the ear canals without completely blocking them, the sound from the drivers naturally produce a surround sound effect, which effectively expands the audio space to about 5 feet all around you as opposed to resonating it only within your skull from a typical in-ear-canal earbuds.Pros: fantastic audio performance with its 14mm drivers, delivering deep base and crystal clear mid range and upper scale notes. Very comfortable on the ears with 3 selectable sizes of silicone tips to fit varying ear sizes. The flat cords prevents tangling. The case is a nice bonus with its compact size for portability or storage.I used it for an average of 5 hours a day consistently for a year while playing Diablo III on my laptop, and I rarely used it for any other purpose, so obviously there was no abuse or rough handling of this pair of earbuds.Cons: So, why the title of Dr Jekyll and My Hyde? Well, as much as I absolutely loved this pair of earbuds, nearly a year after use, the cords became brittle at the seams and began to crack. The point where the red cord meets the 3.5mm jack and the ear pieces cracked little by little, and within a month the inner wires also became frayed. Eventually, the right side audio died. I tried to salvage it by using a duct tape, but it was an exercise in futility.Had I known that HyperX earbuds have a 2 year warranty (something that I overlooked entirely) I would have contacted the manufacturer for a warranteed replacement, but at the time I wasn't aware of it and just trashed it to get it could get it out of my sight. It was a fantastic pair of earbuds that I absolutely enjoyed for a solid year, but after a year of use, the red cable cracked at the seams and fell apart. I am very, very disheartened because there is no other set of earbuds like it. It is so comfortable to wear for many hours at a sitting that I hardly noticed it in my ears.I should give this product a 1 star review for its dismal material failure, but due to the phenomenal audio performance, comfort, convenient use on my laptop that I am still giving it a 5 star review. However, buyer beware, if you purchase it, it will give you full satisfaction for a year, and then it will break apart at precisely where the cable joins the earpieces and the 3.5mm jack.On the off chance that HyperX should decide to make this exact pair of earbuds with a braided cord, I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat.I don't mind the red wires of these earbuds and they fit good in my ears. However, my ears would start to hurt after 1 hour of wearing them. Sometimes, they just feel loose in my ears so I would have to double-check every few seconds to make sure they don't fall out. As for build quality, the earbuds feel like they are made out of not premium material (just plastic and glued with the hyperx logo).I would recommend getting apple earbuds because they fit general ears better and are way cheaper than these.I went through so many wireless headsets in recent years and I always go back to those buds. I wear glasses and have problems with pressure points. Those buds are so good sounding and comfortable that I don't even feel them. Sound is great, good amount of bass and a decent mic also. I just love them.I bought these solely for gaming with my PS5. Work great. Not the best out there but for the price hard to beat. 5 starts from meThese earbuds have great sound quality for the price. The only issue I have with these is the fact that the plastic earpieces are of poor design. All three size earpeices the earbuds came with fall out of my ear easily or pop right off of the earbuds with a mild tug.It doesn’t have a mute button and it’s not ideal for small ears, but otherwise, it’s a good product.I plugged mine into my astro mixamp TR and they sound amazing! I love that they came with different sizes for the cushions because I have smaller ears. They are super comfortable and don't bother me at all. Very happy with them. The first day the Earbuds were kind of uncomfortable to wear and kept falling out, but after that these have been perfect. The sound was pretty good for FPS games, but I noticed a slight different from my higher end headphones which is to be expected. I think this is worth the priceWorst earbuds I’ve ever bought, sound quality is there but no matter what size bud I use they just fall out my ears. Poor design, nothing to fit in the ear properly. Worst £30 I’ve ever spent.. Some might see the changeable earbud as a good thing, I think it’s a flaw in design as they are easily misplaced. They try makeup for it with different size buds which don’t make the slightest of difference. Normal iPhone headphones are miles better as they spread inside the ear and grip, these just slide out with the slightest of movement. For those wanting earbuds to use on non apple devices, looks for something similar in design.Had these for about a month now, can say sound quality is good but not amazing. Not completely noise cancelling but doesn't advertise itself to be. Build quality is good but don't expect this to be a premium product, that said it will last. Earbuds are super comfortable too and won't slip/fall/pull out easily. For the first in ear headphones that HyperX are doing, these are not bad at all. Bought these because I own multiple other hyperx products and they're always great, however for a first, this is just good. I'd still recommend them and know they will last but if you're after exceptional sound quality, you'll be disappointed. So I've had these for just over a year now (I guess them lasting that long is a plus), but I've still got mixed feelings about them.I'm no audiophile, but to me they sounded pretty decent. Nothing amazing, but certainly not terrible either. They come with a nice case, different sized tips and the flat red cable doesn't tangle as easily. The big issue I wish I had listened to some reviews on is the shape of the "patented" ear tips. I think initially you can get over the weird shape and using whichever size fits best they may be good for a little while. Eventually though they just fall out of your ears. I figured I'd not been using the right size tips, but after trying them all (and them eventually loosening and not fitting on as well anymore) I'm over this pair of earbuds.Honestly disappointed. I like HyperX. They're headphones are good, but trying to stand out with weird shaped ear tips was not the way to go.Depois de alguns meses de usos eu resolvi passar aqui para deixar meu feedbacka qualidade de som é otima, muito bom para jogar... o fio não enrola, é bem resistente.
