The Keychron K10 is a 104 keys RGB backlight Bluetooth mechanical keyboard aluminum frame made for Mac and Windows. Engineered to maximize your productivity with most popular full size layout with number pad.
With a unique Mac layout while compatible with Windows, the K10 has all essential multimedia and function keys you need (Num Lock works with Windows only), and comes with a dedicated Screenshot Key, Siri (Cortana) Key, and Screen Lock Key. Extra keycaps for both Mac and Windows operating systems are included.
Connects with up to 3 devices via the reliable Broadcom Bluetooth 5.1 chipset and switch among them easily for multitasking needs. The K10 is best to fit home, office and light gaming use while connecting with your smartphone, laptop and iPad. It also has wired mode with USB Type-C connection.
With the Gateron G Pro mechanical switch providing unrivaled clicky responsiveness on the Blue switch with up to 50 million durable keystroke lifespan. N-key rollover (NKRO) on wired mode or 6KRO on wireless mode.
The K10 can last up to 240 hours (with backlight off) with a 4000 mAh big battery, which is one of the biggest in mechanical keyboards. Two level adjustable feet (6º and 9º) and inclined bottom frame provides a great ergonomic support for long lasting typing comfort.
Having tried a few mechanical keyboards, this one felt the best and improved my typing accuracy substantially.Having used the Apple Magic Keyboard (with numeric keypad) for some time, and hating it, I wanted a full stroke tactile full width keyboard and after trying a couple of other well known solutions this company was introduced to me by a colleague,I am not interested in gaming and wanted to use it for day to day use, so ease of use and accuracy were of paramount importance. I am using this with a 2020 Apple iMac. The keys are fairly quiet, but give a nice tactile feel (typical of Cherry Brown series keys but slightly softer sound) to the experience where it is easy to feel the operation and improve accuracy. The keyboard has a decent weight and build quality (I had the metal framed version which gives the keyboard some weight and a better quality feel). The keycaps provided are marked in an unusual way with the upper and lower case being side by side rather than vertically, which is confusing. The keycaps are single shot with engraved markings and I am not sure how long they will last. I intend to replace them with better double shot keycaps but this may reduce the effectiveness of the back lights.I purchased the matching wrist rest from the same company which adds substantially to the cost. If you also factor in the need for new better quality keycaps, this is not a cheap solution but I think it is worth it.Pros:1. Tactile sensation.2. Nice sound.3. Build quality (I had the metal framed version).4. Backlight options.5. Ease of connection via either BT or USB.Cons:1. Keycaps are poorly marked. Upper and lower case not obvious.2. Keycaps are of poor quality (I will be replacing them with newer double shot keycaps which may impede the backlights).RecommendedAll I've wanted is an old school basic 104-key windows keyboard with mechanical keys like the old indestructible ones that is WIRELESS. I don't need all the fancy multimedia - I just need something I can blast away at during my all day job of TYPING. Why is that so hard? This one DELIVERS. I love that is Cherry Brown keys, perfect. Standard 104 layout with FULL SIZED FUNCTION keys in their "normal" placement. Standard ENTER key (not the big one). And it has ON-BOARD controls for color and such so I don't need the constant barrage of a driver install like the Razer one I just dumped in the garbage bin for this one. THANK YOU for this keyboard! So much so - I got TWO!This is the best keyboard that I have ever owned. The option for wired or Bluetooth connection is great, the build quality is fantastic, the rgb options are neat. Highly recommend.Item box, materials are well built,Mac/windows switch is very useful. However if you are looking for hot swapple, this is not, there is another version on Amazon,Customer service is great, they are very responsiveIf you are a coder, I definetly recommendThe brown was the right mix of clicky and smooth for me. The aluminum build is worth the premium in my eyes, even if it adds weight. Zero issues so far. High quality build. Only wish the included cord was longer, and that it came with a wireless usb dongle.Good keyboard. Latency a bit too high so gamers, you might wanna think twice. But for me who just play games for fun, it’s good. After some frustrated wrangling trying to get the wireless connection work, I gave up and connected by USB via my monitor. It does connect via Bluetooth, but omg the lag is terrible. It effectively makes it unusable. To be fair, I knew going in this might be an issue (there are fair amount of posts complaining about it) and I'm equally inclined to chalk it up to quirks in Windows 11. Perhaps that will get ironed out in a future update. I'm disappointed I couldn't get the wireless connectivity to work as I really don't need more wires in my life, but there it is.On the plus side: the build quality and aesthetic of the keyboard is fantastic. I love the aluminum body and the heft and sturdy weight. I'm glad I picked Brown switches. There's plenty of click and bump in those for me. Blue would have probably driven the people around me insane. One quick note for Windows users: The Print Screen button is still there, but replaced with an icon.EDIT UPDATE: (a few days later)I was able to get the wireless connectivity to work reliably on my system. I happen to have a motherboard with an integrated WIFI and Bluetooth controller. The wireless controller was creating the interference with the Bluetooth connection (there's an issue with 2.4Ghz wireless signals interfering with Bluetooth). I simply disabled the motherboard WIFI controller from Device Manager and everything worked properly with the keyboard. Another possible solution could have been to change the channel of the Bluetooth. All in all, this keyboard is a great product. I recommend it.This keyboard has been so amazing. This board has opened my ability to start building and designing keyboards on a budget. I highly recommend this keyboard to give those the opportunity to start keyboard building. Definitely will be getting more in the future and highly recommend to my gaming friends and PC community.
