(Review with ~1 week of use) To start with, the packaging method on this was great! I was very impressed. Absolutely 0 wasted space in the box I received, and there was even some slim padding in-between part layers.Assembly was pretty straightforward - putting the "legs" on the "star" piece (the star-shaped base of the chair where your wheels go) was a little confusing, as I didn't want to break the parts (and they're very thick, durable plastic pieces!). I couldn't get them to go in with the method listed in their instructions, so instead I "hammered" them into place by hitting the exposed end of the "leg" onto my carpet floor (sorry, downstairs neighbor!), which worked perfectly.I appreciate the solid metal piece that attaches the cushion to the backing. I was surprised to see a solid metal piece in the box, but thankful that the manufacturers are taking care of providing a quality product and not cheapening a vital connection point. The chair+arms don't raise too high. I'm about 5'7" and the max height of the chair allows my legs to bend at pretty close to a 90-degree angle. I wouldn't mind it a little higher, but this is just high enough to fit under my desk (~28").One thing that is misleading in their images is that the lumbar and headrest cushions ACTUALLY attach via elastic straps. The directions show you how/where to connect them. I've moved mine and connected them with my personal preference. Both cushions have zippers on them - I assume you can take the covers off to wash. I haven't investigated them that closely.I don't recall seeing it in the product description, but the lumbar cushion actually has a "vibrational massager" inside it, powered via USB cable. I don't believe it can store a charge. The cord is not that long, so either have a connection close by or buy/use a USB extender if you wish to use it while moving around. The lack of cushion "wings" is super nice, a lot of those chairs become uncomfortable for me quickly. This chair, so far, has not. (longest gaming session ~7 hours)As stated in my headline, the footrest seems a little cheaper - not the part in and of itself, but how it connects. They use two thick plastic pieces with hollow cylinder centers to use as guides for the footrest "prongs". On the footrest prongs, you remove (in my case) a singular screw (not sure if there's supposed to be one per side), slide the prongs into the guides, and re-secure the screw to ensure that the footrest does not fall out on its own. I'd love for both sides of the "prongs" to have a screw for equal stability, instead of being able to pull it out more on one side and have the change of unevenly distributing weight. With my current desk setup, the footrest can't really be used with reclining, but I *have* discovered the lovely fact that I can sit criss-cross with it under my desk! It's a great feature and I do it often. Highly recommend trying it.The seat controls work great, but they're set further back than you'd expect. I reach for where the raise/lower lever would be on a typical chair, but it's a good inch or two behind it. You have to reach back even further to take hold of the recline lever. The reclining feature is very "snappy," in a good way. You really hear it lock into place. The directions suggest not adding any additional pressure to it as you release the lever (probably just enough to hold it in place so it doesn't fly back quickly, obviously), as it is very strong. I enjoy sitting upright and the lumbar pillow really helps in my case.Lastly, the arms themselves wiggle a smidge, but that could be on me and there's a chance I could've tightened them down more. I have a feeling that, for me and how I lean on chairs, the arms have the highest risk of being the first to go. Maybe it's that they have a hinge/elbow joint on them and that they're not a solid piece? That's just one more weak point, but I'm not super concerned.TL;DR - Solid chair (thick plastic construction and a solid metal piece to conjoin the cushion and back), arms wiggle a little, chair control levers are further back than expected, seller photos don't show that the lumbar and headrest cushions attach via elastic straps.
