I've just purchased this K550 RGB keyboard and set it up today. My first impression of it is very positive. It has good feeling keypresses, isn't super noisy like some mechanical keyboards (sounds a lot like the old IBM keyboards we had back in the 80's), and has good response to button presses. I especially love the ability to customize the colors on the keys individually instead of just having only the pre-set options. Some of the pre-sets are actually kind of nice, but I wanted to be able to have the choice of each key being set to a color of my choosing. The brightness seems good in the somewhat dark office space I work in, but I haven't tried it in a well lit room to know if it's bright enough to be seen in that environment. It's got four brightness settings, the two lowest are somewhat dim but bright enough for gaming in the dark, the two highest seem almost the same brightness and are good when there's more ambient light around. The build quality seems quite high, the built in wrist rest is removable but I like how it feels so I'm leaving it on. The kickstands to raise the back side up could be a little taller for my taste, but they're not bad. The keys seem durable, though they do have a little bit of "wobble" to them (hardly noticeable but it's there). The font on the keys is a bit different than most keyboards out there, but I personally like it.It's got 12 macro keys, but I've never used that feature before so I have no idea what to even do with it. Honestly I'd have been fine if that wasn't even on here, but it is so I may eventually figure it out. The volume "scroll wheel" is a nice feature. I like it better than the dial knob a lot of similar keyboards have. The media keys are well spaced and decent size, though I wish they lit up too so I could see them at night in the dark. The WIN key lockout is handy so you can toggle the windows key to be "off" or functioning normally. Locking it makes the key not do anything if you accidentally hit it, which is nice while playing games. All in all, I have to say the value for the quality seems to be high. At around $60 it's a lot less expensive than a lot of the other "budget" keyboards that have the customizable key colors. I researched various keyboards in that price range for quite a few hours before choosing this one. So far I'm glad I did.I'll try to post more info after I've used it for a while to let people know how it's holding up.
